The Coffee Connection has been owned and operated by Maryam Field since 2002 at which point it became a main attraction of Osceola. Before switching locations in April 2007, the Coffee Connection was located up the street in what is now the South half of PY's Bar & Grill. The Coffee Connection, now located in the old Noah Insurance building, is on the site of the Kent Grist Mill which was destroyed by a fire in 1880 and later rebuilt as the Cascade Roller Mill. This Roller Mill was said to be the largest in the St. Croix Valley, turning out 1,500 barrels of flour a day. |
